3DA – Advanced walkcycle

Our newest task for the 3D animation course is to use our new experience in animating characters and create an advanced walkcycle. We have the choice between run, sneak, shuffle, skip and a few others. At first I chose the sneak-cycle. Sadly the provided character has no possibility to bend the knee without the hip being deformed very unhealthy.

So I decided to choose a cycle which fits better to the character: the double bounce walk. After a while it got pretty difficult because of the half-high bounce of the hip. I didn’t know what to do with the arms to make them shake correctly.

But at last I think i got a pretty good result, but take a look by yourself.
